Common Problems Encountered in Using Torrents

As torrents are being widely used today, problems are also being encountered. But don't be scared, all you need to do is get to know these problems and try to find ways to address them. One significant problem with torrents is that they are not supported technology yet. This means that they are not yet being integrated into tools such as web browsers. Azureus, for instance, has basic Java prerequisites. It requires a higher version of Java to be installed on your computer before it can be used.

Seeking trackers is another problem - There are times that you
get a tracker's wrong IP address or worst, you don't get it.

One other problem is when the connection is being refused by firewalls or routers, or when trackers or servers are just being too busy.

Problem connecting to peers - this is when there is no one to connect to or it would just take some time to connect because of some other problems.

Windows cannot find - this is when you have either entered the wrong path or the path that you have entered is not found or not available.

No space is left on device - you have a full memory to save another file.

No such file in directory - either you have no files with that name or there is something wrong with your file that it can not be opened.

Permission denied - you can only run one system at a time. You cannot run two at the same time.

Rejected by tracker - you have to register for you to be able to be recognized by your tracker.

Piece xxx failed hash checked - your system re-downloads.

Uploaded failure - this is when trackers are temporarily shutdown.

Message code - the tracker you are using is not available.

Error on line xx - blocking software is running

Address family not supported - incorrect network setting

Page cannot be displayed - file or site cannot be found or you need some program like Adobe to run the file

Filled with errors - this mean that the torrent is dead

These are just some of the well known problems that one may encounter in using torrents. If you are familiar with these problems, and you know how and when they occur, then you will have the opportunity to resolve or avoid them.
